Important! Positive Visualization Exercise

As a part of the many exercises at one of many self-improvement classes I am attending, one exercise caught my attention - to write a letter to your future spouse (even if you are currently single) as a way to thank God & Universe for making it happen. So here is mine. 


Dear Husband, 

I am so grateful for your love, kindness and respect towards me and our family. You are such a caring person; my best friend and I am truly astonished by your work ethic. You are such a family person and that inspires me to be a great wife too. You work hard and provide for our beautiful family while accepting and supporting me in my real estate career too. 

You are so smart, respectful, kind, patient, generous, funny, positive, and such a high-quality man. Thank you for being confident in yourself, so that together we are both confident people in love. The way you work hard to achieve your goals in real estate/finance is a quality about you that I find so attractive. I love that you also believe in the value of good education, but most importantly relentless and resourceful self-improvement. I love how we celebrate our holidays together whether in New York or Miami. I also love how religious you are and how you value religion, and it is a huge part of our marriage. Thank you for making our lives better by having each other.

Thank you for bringing me my favorite snacks when I need them, for planning and executing most of our dates and quality time together, for meeting my kind friends, and for introducing me to your amazing friends. Thank you for believing in me as a professional and also as a girl who is adding value and kindness to this world. Thank you for the amazing trips we take together and for the romantic things you do. Thank you for the amazing time we spend together, as I graciously receive it. Thank you for trusting me and for our mutual trust as we both work towards our professional and personal goals. Thank you for our mutual respect and support towards each other, and for making me feel that I am the luckiest girl on the planet. 

Thank you for accepting my sense of humor and for making me laugh with your incomparable jokes. Thank you for getting along with my parents as their English gets better and for having great relationships with them. Thank you for introducing me to your family who loves me. Thank you for getting along with my parents and siblings, who love and respect you so much. Thank you for being great with kids, and for us having our amazing and kind children together based on the values that reflect our family. Thank you for providing me with a sense of trust, love, security, comfort, support, and room for growth, and valuing me for my character. 

Thank you for appreciating my natural femininity and great work ethic to make things beautiful and to be kind to myself and to the rest of the world. Thank you for your confidence, kindness, and love. I am so grateful each day to be married to you. 

You are the best husband in the world.
