Respect for Yourself and Your Actions

Dear Reader, Thank you for your time to read my blog that consists of observations and important conclusions that have made a difference in my life and hopefully can help you in some ways as well.   2019 has been perhaps the most transformational year for my personal development. Through many self development techniques presented to me, I was truly able to develop further as a person and level up in many aspects of my life. I found the following methods to be important:  Journaling  Meditation Coaching  Working out  Gratitude Giving back Reading self development books (or books that can help you to understand yourself and aspects of your life)  Perhaps the most important lesson for me this year is to have confidence in myself through respecting myself. Why Setting Your Own Standard is Important

In my second year of college, I have grown to learn to be more introspective than ever. Today I feel that I am reaching of becoming the best version of myself, a person who I am proud to be. Encountering most incredible people, exhilarating experiences, participating in leadership roles, working, studying and evolving myself taught me to reflect on myself and my actions as a responsibility.  Briefly, I have been thinking about expectations for myself and how they can be applied towards morally navigating at life.  Virtues that I expect myself to follow: 1) Kindness. This word defines my essence most accurately as I truly believe in being kind.  I have been told quite often that many people take a person's kindness for weakness and that I am being naive in my judgement, but I think that having a kind heart takes strength of a character.  I need to be kind to myself and others, and it has to be done in balance.
